Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub

This body scrub is so natural, you can eat it. That’s it. That’s my hook and my selling point. Bye! You’re welcome.

Jus’ kiddinnnn’. I hope your weeks have been off to a good start! It’s been a busy few days over here but I thought I’d pop in real quick to share this recipe with you guys. Behold, the pumpkin spice body scrub! Where my basics at?

Our skin is our biggest organ, and it’s porous. This means it will absorb whatever you put on it; ‘good-for-you’ essential oils and toxic formaldehyde alike. That’s why when it comes to beauty products – bath products especially – I prefer using all-natural, handcrafted goods. Bonus points if they’re local! Besides the fact that they usually smell way better than anything you could find at the store, they’re probably better for you, too.

I’m not much of a DIY-er, but this body scrub is extremely easy to make — you can also probably make it with ingredients you already have in your pantry! It’s festive, it feels incredible, and it smells absolutely divine. What’s not to love? Bring on the PSL PSSS! ‘Cuz happiness is homemade.

To make it, just mix around 1 cup of granulated sugar, 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice, 1/4 cup of coconut oil, and 2 tsp of vanilla extract. That’s it. That’s literally it. I’m telling you — so easy a Paola could do it.

Happy haunting!
